What stands behind the label?

LuxFLAG is an independent and international non-profit association launched in July 2006 in Luxembourg by seven public and private founding partners. LuxFLAG Climate Finance is one of a total of seven labels awarded by LuxFLAG.

Since 2016, LuxFLAG Climate Finance has been used to assess EU investment funds that invest at least 75% of total assets in investments that have a clear and direct link to climate change mitigation and/or adaptation.

The Climate Finance label eligibility Committee (CFLEC) consists of five members from the private and public sectors who decide on the applications. In addition, there are other LuxFlag management boards that must sign off on the listing. The process can be triggered four times a year.

Which financial products are evaluated with it?
